The Disco Biscuits ~ Bisco Power Mission

The Disco Biscuits are teaming up with HeadCount to stage Bisco Power Mission – a benefit concert and volunteer initiative to help outfit a Philadelphia public school with solar power. The show will be held at Brooklyn Bowl, the nation’s largest LEED Certified green music venue, in Brooklyn, NY on Sunday, March 21.

Tickets for Bisco Power Mission go on sale Thursday, February 25 at 12 PM EST through BiscoTix and Friday, February 26 at 12 PM EST through Ticketfly. General Admission tickets are $40 and a limited number of VIP/Bowling tickets are available for $75 (free bowling all night). Hope everybody is enjoying their 2010!! 2009 was a VERY BIG year for EOTO and we would like to celebrate the monster year by showcasing the band in the release of the “Best of 2009” compilation!!

We are pleased to bring you the second installment of K-Turns & U-Turns!!! It features EOTO at their absolute best across all of their touring madness in 2009. Jason & Travis recorded 170 live shows in 2009, and we did our best to pull songs from the entire year and give fans a true taste of what EOTO sounded like throughout all of 2009. This compilation pulls together 36 songs and 4 hours of music, from 29 different shows. Just like last time, every song has been edited to flow into the next in order to give the feel of a live EOTO show that you saw or heard, somewhere, sometime, in 2009.

Enjoy this mix and thank you to everybody that purchased shows throughout 2009! We now have over 200 live shows available for download and you all have continued to make this process possible 🙂

The Yale Sustainable Food Project was founded in 2001 by Alice Waters and members of the Yale faculty, and the Project now operates a one-acre organic farm in New Haven and directs a sustainable dining program at the university.
During our visit, we met with Yale Sustainable Food Project Director Melina Shannon-DiPietro who told us about the explosion of interest in organic farming among students at Yale and across the country. For more information visit: yale.edu/sustainablefood/.
