Video ~ The Governors Ball 2011 Recap

From Governors Ball on YouTube
TV Free Media’s promo video and coverage of the inaugural Governors Ball Music Festival, a Founders Entertainment event. The one day summer event took place June 18th, 2011 on Governors Island, located off the southern tip of Manhattan.

The action packed festival featured two stages of non-stop live music, no overlapping sets, interactive art installations, a World Series of Beer Pong Satellite Tournament, summer sports (e.g. basketball and volleyball), a dance competition and dozens of specialty vendors offering food, beer, merchandise, etc. The surplus of entertainment options, amazing weather, and smooth production led to an overwhelming success for The Governors Ball in 2011.

Heralded as “the perfect one-day festival” (Rum-Bum) in only its first year, the future looks unusually bright for New York City’s hottest up-and-coming summer party.”

Video ~ The New Old Cavalry “Eat My Dust” Live at Good People Good Times 2011

The New Old Cavalry offers today’s concert-goer an opportunity to take two steps back into the past and one large step into the future. We seek to turn every stage we play on into an event where sounds of varying backgrounds can intermingle and transform into a heart-felt, and unapologetically dynamic mash-up of hard-driving bluegrass, gospel-inspired harmonies, and psychedelic looseness. Its New, Its Old, its the Cavalry and we intend to take your foot-stompin’ and whiskey swiggin’ past the astral zone!

Celebrating 10 Years of Bonnaroo

“The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival is a four-day, multi-stage camping festival held on a beautiful 700-acre farm in Manchester, TN every June.

Bonnaroo brings together some of the best performers in rock and roll, along with dozens of artists in complementary styles such as jazz, Americana, hip-hop, electronica, and just about any contemporary music you can think of.

In addition to dozens of epic performances, the festival’s 100-acre entertainment village buzzes around the clock with attractions and activities including a classic arcade, on-site cinema, silent disco, comedy club, theater performers, a beer festival, and a music technology village. For its peaceful vibe, near-flawless logistics, and unrivaled entertainment options, Rolling Stone magazine named this revolutionary entertainment experience one of the 50 moments that changed the history of rock and roll.” From Bonnaroo.com
