“Music festival Suwannee Springfest will mark its fifteenth anniversary in 2011. The festival has been continuously produced at North Florida’s Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park near the farming town of Live Oak. Well-known and highly-regarded among discerning fans & media, the event consistently features some of the world’s finest performers in New & Traditional Folk, Roots Rock, Bluegrass & Newgrass, Singer/Songwriter, Acoustic Blues, Cajun/Zydeco, and other forms of American Roots music. Those musical sub-genres are now collectively referred to as Americana music, a style growing rapidly in acceptance & popularity which generally incorporates respect for & recognition of traditional music forms presented through a completely contemporary framework & approach.”

In addition to previously announced headliner’s Furthur with Phil Lesh & Bob Weir, The Flaming Lips, and moe., plus The Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Band, we’re thrilled to tell you that STS9, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Umphrey’s McGee, Max Creek, John Brown’s Body, The Felice Brothers, Ryan Montbleau, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, and Greensky Bluegrass have committed to Nateva for the July 2nd, 3rd & 4th weekend. STS9 will play at exactly 8:28 p.m. on Saturday night… for Sunset in Maine… don’t miss this amazing and unique performance!

Announcing Rothbury Music Festival 2009

About Rothbury

The Rothbury Festival is a four-day jam band music festival in Rothbury, Michigan at the Double JJ Ranch. The festival first occurred in 2008 during the 4th of July holiday weekend. In addition to music and arts, the festival is intended to promote sustainability and promote overall improvements to the environment.
After multiple hurdles, Rothbury is officially returning for a second festival in 2009. The second Rothbury will be held July 2-5, once again placing the festival over the 4th of July holiday weekend. The festival’s second year will expand the think-tank discussions established the first year and continue the use of sustainable technologies.

ROTHBURY’s general admission Weekend Ticket includes a four day festival pass (Thursday through Sunday) and on site camping/parking.
