If you don’t have a ticket, PLEASE DO NOT COME TO MAGNABALL. If you have tickets and are coming, please carpool – it saves gas, decreases traffic congestion and will allow everyone a little more space to stretch out in the campground.

“The news is out, all over town… Mickey, Bill, and Bob have joined forces with Grammy Winning singer/guitarist John Mayer to form the band Dead and Company. The band will take the stage at the legendary Madison Square Garden on Halloween night, October 31, 2015 and will perform two sets of music drawing largely from the Dead’s historic catalog of songs.

The Fare Thee Well shows were a record-setting success, and ignited enthusiasm for more concerts featuring Grateful Dead members. “There is a place where music, dreams and magic come together,” said Hart. “Grateful Dead music is a portal to that place. It was built to last!”

“Fare Thee Well proved to me that I’m not done exploring new rhythmic territory with Mickey – I’m recommending that everyone puts their helmet on, because we are going to blast our way into some serious drums and space,” said Kreutzmann. “And with Mayer riding shotgun with Weir – we’re in good company, so to speak.”

Mayer will join Hart, Kreutzmann and Weir, along with Allman Brothers’ bassist Oteil Burbridge and Fare Thee Well and RatDog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti. “I deeply love the Dead’s music, and it has inspired me in ways I never imagined. To help carry this music is the opportunity and the honor of a lifetime,” Mayer said.

“We’re not done with these songs and they’re not done with us,” said Weir. “We’re gonna take these old friends on some new adventures.”

Tickets will go on-sale to the general public Friday, August 14th at 10am ET. Phish returns to Watkins Glen International in Watkins Glen, NY for their tenth festival, Magnaball (August 21-23, 2015). Located amidst the rolling hills of central New York’s Finger Lakes region, the site is just a short drive from numerous Northeastern cities. Onsite camping is included in the price of admission. Like previous Phish festivals, the event will include numerous activities, attractions and art installations in addition to a series of performances by the band.

“Phish’s 2015 Summer Tour begins at the end of July on the West Coast with two evenings at Les Schwab Amphitheatre in Bend, OR (July 21 & 22). The band will also play two-night stands in Atlanta, GA (July 31 & August 1), East Troy, WI (August 8 & 9), Philadelphia, PA (August 11 & 12) and Columbia, MD (August 15 & 16). For the fifth straight year, Phish will wrap up its summer outing with a trio of Labor Day weekend shows at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO (9/4-6). The band will not be touring this fall.

Announcing Trey Anastasio Band 2014 Fall Tour Dates

“Trey Anastasio Band’s new album, Paper Wheels, isn’t due out until early 2015, but the group will be previewing some of the new songs during its 2014 Fall Tour. The run will kick off on November 28 (the day after Thanksgiving) at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago and include two-night stands at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC, the Orpheum Theatre in Boston and New York City’s Beacon Theatre.

Fans can listen to (and download for free) “Bounce,” a song from Paper Wheels, at Trey.com. While much preparation went into Paper Wheels in terms of demos and rehearsals with TAB, the album was recorded in less than a week at The Barn, Anastasio’s reconstructed barn-turned-rehearsal/recording studio located outside Burlington, Vermont. Inspired by the immediacy of Stax-era recordings, Anastasio and his band mates recorded the songs live, playing and singing together in one room and often requiring no more than one or two takes.

Paper Wheels was produced and engineered by Bryce Goggin, who helmed several Phish albums and has also partnered with Anastasio on previous solo projects, and mixed by Elliot Scheiner (Steely Dan, Van Morrison).”
