Vote Now ~ 2012 Jamband Tournament

From JambandTournaments.com
“We are proud to announce our 2012 jamband style March Madness Tourney. The winner is determined by answering one very simple question. You are at a festival & these two bands are playing at the same time…Which band do you go see?

View the official bracket and then vote electronically at JambandTournaments.com!

Yes we understand that not all the bands in our 2012 tournament are Jambands. A better title would probably be “Bands Headlining & Performing at this Years Top Jamband Festivals Tournament,” but it just seems a little too wordy.

Seeds were handed out based on popularity & festival appearances throughout the summer. We don’t consider this to be a “Best Band of All Time Tournament.” We want people to vote based on “which band would you see right now if you had to make the choice?”

The reason we decided to do this again is simple: FOR FUN! We hope that it can, and will, stimulate friendly debate & conversation. The beautiful thing about music & art is that it’s entirely subjective. We believe that when it comes to music & art there isn’t a right or wrong answer.

So…Good vibes, enjoy the tourney, and go see live music!”

Tournament Voting Schedule
Round 1 ~ March 21-23
Round 2 ~ March 23-25
Sweet 16 ~ March 25-27
Elite 8 ~ March 27-29
Final Four ~ March 29-April 1
Final ~ April 1-7
