The 11th Annual Summer Camp

“Summer Camp Music Festival will again return to Chillicothe, IL Memorial Day Weekend. Hosted by Jay Goldberg Events & Entertainment and Jam Productions, Ltd. the 2011 Summer Camp Music Festival will take place May 27, 28 & 29, 2011 at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, IL. This years festival and will feature over 50 bands on 6 stages over the course of 3 days. Taking place at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, IL (just 20 miles north of Peoria), the festival also features a kid’s camp, an extensive representation of non-profit organizations, on-site camping, lots of unique arts & craft artisans, a variety of good food and plenty of ice cold beer.” From Summer Camp

“For their afternoon set at Summer Camp on 5/27 moe. played “The Harder They Come” with Brendan Bayliss (Umphrey’s McGee) joining in on guitar while Al was on keys & vocals. “STS9′s inclusion in Summer Camp 2010 may have been due to the fact that these guys create soundscapes on a grand scale. They played a day set on 5/28 but are traditionally late-night fare, their blend of electronica with live instruments made them doubly enjoyable at the late-night set in the Summer Camp Barn. They rocked the house past 3am and even did an encore.”
