Suwannee Hulaween 2015 will return to The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL October 30th-November 1st. The festival will feature Three Nights of String Cheese Incident, Pretty Lights, Primus, Chance the Rapper and The Social Experiment, STS9, Railroad Earth Slightly, Lettuce, Papadosio, Dopapod, Future Rock, The New Mastersounds, Turbo Suit & More!
Festival goers can also get excited for the return of an expanded Spirit Lake – an experiential artistic glowing menagerie of multimedia metalwork, paintings, sculptures, light projections and live performances that morphs the prehistoric-looking forest into a vivid dream-like space. With hardly any overlapping sets throughout the weekend, attendees have plenty of timeto wander the mystical campgrounds abuzz with costumed fans and interactive theme camps while not missing any music they want to experience. Since the release of our last album To End the Illusion of Separation (T.E.T.I.O.S.), life has been nothing short of a rip-roaring ride through time and space. With hundreds of shows, and tens of thousands of miles under our belts, we decided to kick off 2015 by retreating to the quietness of the woods and snow in order to finally record our 4th full-length studio LP.
Unlike all previous albums, the tracks set aside for this release have never been heard. We felt it was time to not simply release yet another compilation of songs we had debuted live, but rather, take the time to craft and curate an expansive collection of music that was written over the course of 2 years and recorded in 2 months in a studio we put together outside of Asheville, NC. Now, thanks to Kickstarter – our friends and fans have a unique opportunity to be a part of the final stages of production of the release, which will include a host of music videos as well as new platforms for listening including our first ever vinyl pressing.
As the project unfolds, the goal is to not only to meet these new benchmarks of one-of-a-kind memorabilia to commemorate this amazing moment in our journey as a band, but also effectively facilitate an independent, world-wide release of this deep-space exploration of art and sound. This piece marks the pinnacle of 9 years of incredibly hard work, touring and dedication and to have it backed by our amazing and ever-growing fan-base whose love and support has continued to make all this possible is a dream come true. Technologically and philosophically speaking, it’s clear that there’s no better way at this time to share this effort with world than through each other. At the minimum it serves as a reminder of how much we are capable of, and at the maximum – time will tell.
We are so incredibly excited to add this album to the Papadosio collection. We cannot ever thank you all enough for everything you have done for us and we’ll see you on the other side.”

The music will kick-off on three stages, starting afternoons in Jaco Beach at The Beach Stage overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The evening action moves into the friendly confines of Hotel DoceLunas outside oasis, where the Main Stage will host the festival’s biggest bands and international headliners. UK reggae legends Steel Pulse will close the Main Stage Thursday night (March 19), 17 piece world electronic ensemble Thievery Corporation headlines Friday night (March 20), California’s finest Slightly Stoopid graces the Main Stage on Saturday night (March 21) and Sunday closes with a strong finale of Jamaican Reggae that features Mykal Rose (of Black Uhuru), rising new star Jesse Royal, and for their first time appearance ever in Costa Rica, Royal reggae family Morgan Heritage.
No Jungle Jam would be complete without a strong U.S. jam band contingent, and 2015 is no exception featuring multiple sets from Papadosio, Dopapod, Twiddle, The Werks, and Zach Deputy. A Late Night Stage, which promises to see some surprise collaborations from Jungle Jam’s favorite musicians, will also include DJ sets from Thievery Corporation’s Rob Garza and Congo Sanchez, spinning until the sun comes up.
In addition to the all-day music schedule, major headliners, and beautiful beaches of Jaco, Jungle Jam also offers a spectacular array of classic Costa Rican excursions. Deep sea fishing, canopy zip-line tours, sailboat snorkeling cruises, surfing, ATV tours, horseback riding, sea kayaking, crocodile jungle river tours, and tours of nearby Manuel Antonio National Park are just a few off-site adventures festival goers may experience. “AURA Music Festival 2015 has announced the addition of iconic jamband moe. to the already impressive 2015 line-up making this the biggest year yet for the homegrown music festival. Taking place at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) in Live Oak, Florida March 6 – 8, moe. will play two sets, joining headlining artists The Disco Biscuits, Papadosio and Snarky Puppy.
AURA has also added two sets by high-energy funk quintet The Main Squeeze including a very special Tribute to Michael Jackson, along with returning artists Pigeons Playing Ping Pong and McLovins. Chicago’s versatile electronic trio Cosby Sweater will make their AURA debut along with South Florida’s improvisational Stinky Pockets. True to AURA’s collaborative nature artists-at-large The Shady Horns (Ryan Zoidis and Eric Bloom of Lettuce) will pop up in several sets throughout the weekend with their sax and trumpet in tow.
For fans that want to arrive early, Ghost Owl has been added to the Thursday night pre-party with Dopapod and Kung Fu. Tickets are available as part of the four-day ticket package.
