Phish NYE Run 2016 – 4 Nights at The Garden

“Phish returns to New York at the end of the year to celebrate New Year’s Eve with a four-night run at Madison Square Garden, beginning Wednesday, December 28th through Saturday, December 31st. As with Phish’s two prior MSG runs, all floor tickets will be general admission.

An online ticket request period is now underway at http://tickets.phish.com, ending Monday, October 10th at 12 noon ET. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, October 14th at 12 noon ET online at Ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at 866-858-0008. Any remaining tickets may be purchased at the Madison Square Garden box office beginning Saturday, October 15th (Monday – Saturday, 10 am – 6 pm).

Phish and CID Entertainment are also offering travel packages for the New Year’s Run (which include hotel and tickets). Phish will be donating their proceeds of these travel packages to the WaterWheel Foundation. Travel Packages go on sale Thursday, October 13th at 12noon ET.”

“Umphrey’s McGee announces the start of 2016 with a 25-plus-date national tour kicking off with a three-night run at the historic Beacon Theatre in NYC, two nights in Asheville for our first arena double-header, and a triumphant return to the Left Coast in March. Instrumental rock-fusion quartet, TAUK, joins us for over 15 performances, as well as our friends The Motet in Asheville, and saxophone virtuoso Joshua Redman on select dates.

2016 marks Umphrey’s 18th year on the road! In our continued effort to push the envelope of heightened fan experiences, our immersive high-end audio offering Headphones & Snowcones will be offered during the 2016 tour, alongside umVIP Enhanced Experience programs. Get the full umVIP experience at our triple-headers in New York City and Aspen, as well as our two-night arena stand in Asheville. “Nothing Too Fancy” umVIP ticket upgrades will also be available in Kalamazoo, Richmond, and Sandpoint. Each umVIP program is unique in its offerings, but all of them have the same core principle: we hook it up, so you can GET DOWN.

Announcing Trey Anastasio Band 2014 Fall Tour Dates

“Trey Anastasio Band’s new album, Paper Wheels, isn’t due out until early 2015, but the group will be previewing some of the new songs during its 2014 Fall Tour. The run will kick off on November 28 (the day after Thanksgiving) at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago and include two-night stands at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC, the Orpheum Theatre in Boston and New York City’s Beacon Theatre.

Fans can listen to (and download for free) “Bounce,” a song from Paper Wheels, at Trey.com. While much preparation went into Paper Wheels in terms of demos and rehearsals with TAB, the album was recorded in less than a week at The Barn, Anastasio’s reconstructed barn-turned-rehearsal/recording studio located outside Burlington, Vermont. Inspired by the immediacy of Stax-era recordings, Anastasio and his band mates recorded the songs live, playing and singing together in one room and often requiring no more than one or two takes.

Paper Wheels was produced and engineered by Bryce Goggin, who helmed several Phish albums and has also partnered with Anastasio on previous solo projects, and mixed by Elliot Scheiner (Steely Dan, Van Morrison).”
