Papadosio Fall Tour 2016 “Pattern Integrities”

Papadosio - Pattern Integrities 2016

From Papadosio

“Papadosio have announced the release of their new EP, Pattern Integrities Vol. I due out September 21st, 2016, and phase one of the Pattern Integrities tour, kicking off with three nights headlining the Resonance Music Festival in Thornville, OH and concluding with two shows at Brooklyn’s iconic Brooklyn Bowl.
The Pattern Integrities tour introduces a new concept from Papadosio: The Pattern Integrity, or “P.I”, set. The P.I. set is in tribute to the great mind of Buckminster Fuller, and features live looping, sequencing, sampling, improvisation, and synthesis. The P.I. set is an effort to do something original, not just with the music itself, but the way in which it is performed. Fans can get a sneak peak of the P.I. set in the just released EP teaser video here.

Papadosio will dedicate the first night to the P.I. set in cities with two shows; and the first set in cities with one show. Papadosio presale for non-festival shows starts Thursday, July 28th. Local on-sales begin on Friday, July 29th.”

Video ~ Pimps of Joytime Drop “Dance Cardia” Ahead of Red Rocks Debut

Pimps Of Joytime

From The Pimps of Joytime

“Today, just two days ahead of their Red Rocks debut, today, Brooklyn’s Pimps of Joytime released their lighthearted new music video for “Dance Cardia.” Directed by Jean Shepherd, the video was shot on location in the band’s hometown of Brooklyn, NY. It reveals frontman Brian J as “The Hustler” versus his childhood foil, “The People’s Champ”, as they converge for a climactic game of Jenga by the train tracks.

“Dance Cardia” is the last single from the Pimps’ most recent LP, Jukestone Paradise (2015, Write Home Records). Brian J co-wrote the funky dance track with Alex Toth of Rubblebucket.

The Pimps premiered the video yesterday through the Denver Post’s music blog, Reverb, as a gift for their Colorado fans before they perform on the legendary Red Rocks stage for the first time as a group this Thursday, July 14.

“Colorado has been real good to us over the past 6 years. There seems to be a genuine appreciation for what we do out here,” said Brian J. “It’s a privilege to be invited to play the amazing Red Rocks Amphitheater and we have our fans to thank for it.”

Pimps of Joytime perform in Telluride, CO tonight, July 13, headlining Telluride Mountain Village’s free summer concert series at Sunset Plaza. The band then travels to Morrison, CO to open the Red Rocks show with Galactic and Boombox tomorrow evening, Thursday, July 14.”

Bass Center 2016

From Bass Center 2016

“Starting this year, we will deliver the Bass Center as an annual weekend special event, featuring expanded lineups, enhanced production, and as many special fx and magical extras as we can manage.

Bass Center 2016 returns to Colorado where it all began with the most intense lineup we have ever assembled, featuring Flux Pavilion, Wu-Tang Clan, Flying Lotus, Porter Robinson, Lupe Fiasco, Alunageorge, Minnesota, G Jones, Dabin, and Thirtworks, plus each night will feature an extended Bassnectar set.

We will have two Camping Villiages (affectionately nicknamed The Shire & Narnia) which will offer limited camping for the hardcores who basically want to arrive on Friday and not leave until Sunday. Stay tuned for more details, as well as multiple official after-parties offsite throughout the weekend, and join us as we take over Colorado for a midsummer night’s lucid dream.”
