Phish Announce Summer Tour 2014

“Phish will kick off its 2014 Summer Tour on July 1 at XFINITY Center in Mansfield, MA and celebrate the Fourth of July with a three-night stand at Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, NY (July 3-5). There will be numerous waterside dates – including the band’s first shows on New York City’s Randall’s Island (July 11-13) and at The Amphitheater at the Wharf in Orange Beach, AL (August 1) and a return to Northerly Island (July 18-20), with its stunning view of the Chicago skyline.
For the fourth consecutive year, Phish will wrap up its summer outing with a trio of Labor Day weekend shows at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO (8/29-8/31). No additional east coast dates will be announced this summer or fall.

Jimkata Announce 2014 Spring Tour Dates
Jimkata’s innovative, fan-funded record Die Digital turned the heads of critics and musicians when it dropped in the Fall of 2012, solidifying the band’s reputation as forward-thinking artists to pay attention to. Leftover Salmon Announce 2014 Spring Tour
“Leftover Salmon is excited to announce their 2014 Spring Tour. In late March, Leftover Salmon will kick off the tour with two nights at Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, CA, followed by two nights at the Crystal Bay Club in Nevada, an evening at the Belly Up in Solana Beach, and two nights at the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company in Chico. The beginning of April brings LoS into Minnesota and Wisconsin for a few shows and the tour closes with another double header at the Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins, CO.

Jungle Jam IV 2014

“Slightly Stoopid, the Ocean Beach/San Diego, CA group led by multi-instrumentalists and founding members, Miles Doughty and Kyle McDonald, will headline Jungle Jam IV January 16-19, 2014 in Jaco, Costa Rica.
Featuring four days of continuous music, this year’s party in the jungle also includes festival newcomers G. Love & Friends, Dumpstaphunk, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, The Expendables, Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers, Kung Fu and dopapod, as well as Jungle Jam veterans Max Creek, Oteil Burbridge, bassist for the Allman Brothers Band, Zach Deputy and Ryan Montbleau Band.
The one-of-a-kind music and camping festival in Jaco, Costa Rica is hosted by the beautiful DoceLunas Resort Hotel and includes concerts at multiple locations in the area, including beach front venues, late night clubs and local theatres, all designed to create an up-close and personal concert experience. It is not unusual for bands to play multiple days at Jungle Jam. Nor is it unusual for sets to turn into big jam sessions.

A limited number of early bird tickets are available while supplies last starting at just $149 for a four day festival pass and $299 for a six day camping and festival pass. Camping packages include the full access to Jungle Jam IV as well as camping in a secure area and round trip airport transfers. All the amenities of a top notch camping and music festival will be available including showers, food vendors as well as a General Store. The campground will open on January 15, 2014 and close on January 21, 2014. Once the early bird packages are gone, Jungle Jam camping and festival packages will be available starting at $199 per person for the four day pass and $349 per person for a 6 day camping pass.
All-inclusive hotel packages are still available at the Best Western Jaco Beach Resort. Condo packages are available at a number of the best resorts along Jaco Beach including the La Paloma Blanca, Bahia Azul, Bahia Encantada, The Palms and Diamante Del Sol.
All camping, hotel and condo packages include festival tickets and ground transportation transfers to and from San Jose Airport.
The DoceLunas Resort has been the home for Jungle Jam since 2011 and is truly one of the gems of all Central America. Chicago Farmer Announces 2014 Winter Tour Dates

The son of a small town farming community, Cody Diekhoff, logged plenty of highway and stage time before drifting into the Windy City and becoming known as Chicago Farmer. Profoundly inspired by Woody Guthrie and John Prine, he’s a working-class folk musician to his core. His small town roots, tilled with city streets mentality, are now turning heads North and South of I-80
“This is not your average ‘man with guitar.’ Chicago Farmer’s approach to solo folk music is traditional, but his soul and energy are uncommonly powerful,” says CBS Chicago. “Arriving with his classic acoustic guitar style is a voice smooth but broken-in that sounds wise beyond its years. He will stomp out a beat in leather boots to drive home a point and throw down a handsome harmonica solo to put a song over the top. The songs are about the places he’s been and the people he’s met, so local ideas are abound in this music from the heart.”

In 2013 Chicago Farmer released the full-length album Backenforth, IL. The album broke the top 40 on the Americana Music Charts and rose to #3 on the Radio Free Americana charts. Along with Americana Radio, the album also garnered much attention with the song “Workin’ On It” being featured on Chicago’s WXRT multiple times. On April 17th, Michael Verity of No Depression (The Roots Music Authority) pegged Backenforth, IL as #5 of the best of the year so far, and Henry Carrigan of Country Standard Time says of the album “Stark and joyous at the same time, the songs grab you by the throat and refuse to let go until they’ve penetrated your heart and soul, which, after all, is what great folk music has always done; Chicago Farmer’s new album stands well in that tradition.”
Chicago Farmer plans to carry the tradition and torch of folk music even further with his live performances in 2014. This year Deikhoff goes on to headline many of the markets and cities he’s been the support in; 2013 saw the Folk-Singer priming the stage for the likes of Todd Snider, Pokey LaFarge, and Jeff Austin’s side project The Here and Now featuring Austin, Danny Barnes, and Larry & Jenny Keel.
