The Big Up Announce 2011 Lineup: RAQ, EOTO, Big Gigantic & More

This year’s The Big Up Music & Arts Festival will be held on July 28, 29 and 30, 2011, at the legendary Sunnyview Farm in Ghent, New York. Now in its second year, The Big Up Music & Arts Festival has already become a summer tradition for festival-goers seeking a unique and intimate festival experience. The 1500 acre Sunnyview Farm, with its remarkable views of the Upper Hudson Valley hills and water ways, is the perfect backdrop for this eclectic, innovative and distinct summer music festival which places a strong emphasis on culture and the arts.

Announced Artists
The Big Up Music & Arts Festival recently announced the addition of Tipper and RAQ to its 2011 festival lineup. They join headliners EOTO (featuring Michael Travis and Jason Hann of the String Cheese Incident), Big Gigantic, Digital Tape Machine (featuring Joel Cummins and Kris Myers of Umphrey’s McGee) and Marco Benevento Trio. “Sensational. Mind-blowing. Fantabulous. These are all words with the same amount of letters as SUPER BALL IX.

It’s Phish’s biggest. Ball. Ever. So big we can’t. Contain it. In one sentence. Super Ball IX, Phish’s ninth festival, will take place July 1-3 at Watkins Glen International. Located amidst the rolling hills of central New York’s Finger Lakes region, the site offers an abundance of campsites and is just a short drive from numerous Northeastern cities. Super Ball IX will mark Phish’s first-ever performance over July 4th weekend, and the first major music festival held at Watkins Glen since 1973’s legendary Summer Jam. It is also Phish’s first-ever performance at a facility with “Watkins” in its name.

Tickets for Super Ball IX go on sale this Monday, April 4th, at Noon ET at superballIX.portals.musictoday.com. On-site camping is included in the price of admission.
