“The Do LaB and TGC are excited to announce their new contest for one lucky person to win a FREE ROUND TRIP TO EGYPT from anywhere in the world and a scholarship to attend THE GREAT CONVERGENCE 2012 at the Great Pyramids of Egypt, an amazing three day music festival followed by a five-day Nile cruise to occur over the Winter Solstice, December 20-28, 2012. The Do LaB and TGC also just released a video featuring some of the participants in this intentional gathering talking about their connection to the event, the pyramids at Giza, and the power of this unique time in history. Please take a moment to watch! The Great Convergence is a calling of the tribes to gather from across the globe for a once in a lifetime experience to intentionally celebrate this potent, transformational time in our lives culminating in a prophesied galactic astronomical alignment that happens once every 26,000 years.
The Great Convergence will include a selection of top electronic music producers and DJ’s from the west coast’s music scene including headliners Beats Antique, Apparat, Random Rab, Bluetech, Gaudi, Govinda, Desert Dwellers, David Starfire, DJ Dragonfly, Imagika, plus Moontribe DJs: Treavor, Brad, and Dela. Additionally, there will be panels and workshops with various experts including Carmen Boulter of The Pyramid Code, Philip Coppens of Ancient Aliens, and Daniel Pinchbeck, author and founder of Evolver/Reality Sandwich, among other Egyptologists to discuss the mysteries of the pyramids and the prophecies of our times.
After the three day music event under the pyramids, the journey will continue from Dec. 23rd-28th with a 4 night/5 day Nile River cruise traveling from Luxor to Aswan to explore some of the world’s most ancient temples during the day while evenings will be opportunities for connection and dance on the rooftops of our boats under the stars.”

Aura Music & Arts Festival Announce Next Phase of 2013 Lineup

“AURA Music Events has unveiled the next phase of the 2013 AURA Music & Arts Festival musical line-up which includes 15 stellar acts to compliment the four headliners already announced this summer. In addition to two sets from Papadosio, Conspirator (ft. Marc Brownstein & Aron Magner of the Disco Biscuits), Perpetual Groove and The Heavy Pets, fans can indulge in two performances by Dopapod and Kung Fu including the premier of Kung Fu’s tribute to Stevie Wonder featuring the Royal Family’s Nigel Hall. AURA 4 will also showcase RAQ’s first live show since July 2011, a very rare treat for fans of the Vermont-based jam outfit that’s anchored by Conspirator’s Chris Michetti and Kung Fu’s Todd Stoops.
AURA vets returning to the festivities include none other than DrFameus (Allen Aucoin of the Disco Biscuits), Greenhouse Lounge, The Resolvers, Lingo and Former Champions. Taking the AURA stage for the first time is The Lee Boys, Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band, Stokeswood, Consider the Source, Newton Crosby, The Main Squeeze and a special solo set from Perpetual Groove’s Brock Butler.”

“The three day camping event will kick off on Oct 26-28th in Placerville, CA featuring an impeccable roster of talent including over 20 live bands on 2 full stages in a pastoral mountain setting.
Highlights include three nights with Railroad Earth along with performances from Delta Spirit, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe Tribute to the Beastie Boys with members of Slightly Stoopid, The Del McCoury Band, Blind Pilot, ALO, Keller Williams with The Travelin’ McCourys, and up-coming bay area songstress Nicki Bluhm & the Gramblers among others.
Things get freaky and a little funky as the sun goes down with Orgone kicking off the late night music on Friday night along with a very special set from Karl Denson & Friends. Saturday takes a grassy turn for the ghoulish as Emmitt-Nershi Band opens for The Infamous Stringdusters in a late night clusterpluck.
Not just another music festival, the event will take place at the pristine El Dorado Fairgrounds just 45 minutes outside of Sacramento, at the edge of the high sierra mountains. Featuring hot running water, real bathrooms and vast open areas for stage viewing, the 2011 event received rave reviews from festival goers last year.
