Strings & Sol Announce 2013 Dates and Initial Lineup: Yonder Mountain, Railroad Earth, Keller Williams & More

“Take a trip with us as we return to Mexico for the second installment of Strings & Sol on December 11-15, 2013. Anyone who attended last year will tell you – these are four nights on the beach that you don’t want to miss! This unique event will feature three shows by Yonder Mountain String Band, one of which will be during the stunning Mayan Riviera sunset. Railroad Earth will play two shows, closing one of the nights and performing another under the Mayan sun. Leftover Salmon will close another evening and play a set during the week.
We are thrilled by the addition of two stellar artists additions joining us in paradise, Keller Williams with the Travelin’ McCoury’s and Greensky Bluegrass who will each perform two shows. This year the event is moving to a new location, Now Sapphire in Puerto Morelos, Mexico in the Mayan Riviera – just a 25-minute ride from the Cancun Airport.”

We are excited to announce our new home, the awesome Hemlock Hollow Farm in Claverack, NY. The Woods Stage and Woods Village will make their triumphant return bigger and better than before! Hemlock Hollow has tons of woods camping (three times as much as years past!), and there’s plenty of car camping space also available.

“Purple Hat Productions has unveiled the line-up for the sixth annual Purple Hatter’s Ball. Taking place at the picturesque Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida May 10 -12, 2013, the three-day music festival honors the memory of longtime friend of SOSMP and music festival lover Rachel Morningstar Hoffman.
The 2013 festival features a diverse line-up including Lettuce, The New Mastersounds, Quantic, DubConscious, The Malah, Nigel Hall and Roosevelt Collier’s Sunday Gospel Surprise, Greenhouse Lounge and more. Set in the midst of 800 acres of Spanish moss-draped oak and cypress along the Suwannee River, the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park offers endless activities such as swimming, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, disc golf and biking.
