Announcing CashOrTrade.org iPhone App Release

CashOrTrade.org

From CashOrTrade.org
CashorTrade.org is the first social ticketing platform that encourages fans to ethically buy, sell, and trade their extra concert tickets with like-minded music lovers. Using a community-based model, the site enables users to directly connect with other fans for “face value” ticket trades, without any markup or fees.

Today CashorTrade.org announced the release of the new iPhone App, now available for FREE download. It will complement the already functional web app accessed at m.cashortrade.org, but will offer lightning fast push notifications and increased user functionality.

Safer and more efficient than other ticket trading avenues, CashorTrade.org gives fans the ability to add transparency to their trades, while gaining reviews and creating trade relationships. The result is an increased chance of attending live music performances without succumbing to exorbitant fees, scams, and inflation that plague the secondary ticket market.

Also recently launched is the CashorTrade.org website redesign, which now offers city, venue, and festival pages to supplement ticket listings by performer. Localizing portions of the website will provide small venues the ability to circulate face value tickets and promote live acts within the growing community.

As part of the Gold Membership released last year, users can now utilize Trade Tracker that sends mobile notifications, tools like Suggested Trades, Repost features, Featured listings, Verified Status and much more. http://cashortrade.org/gold

Since 2009, brothers and co-founders Brando and Dusty have seen the number of registered members double each year. With over 1100 signups per month, and nearly a million dollars of transactions through the website in the last year, the value of this service is evident. In June 2014, the website experienced nearly 1 million page-views and reached 100,000 face value ticket listings. There were over 3,000 positive transaction reviews in the last month alone. CashorTrade is a free service, and does not generate revenue off of member transactions but offers a premium gold membership for $2/mo. and ad space for performers, venues and festivals.

The future is bright for CashorTrade, and Dusty and Brando are hopeful that together with this growing network they will change the landscape of the ticketing industry for the better.”

Jeff Austin On Tour Fall 2014

Jeff Austin Fall Tour 2014

They have also have been in the studio with a number of other friends, heroes and mentors to record an album due out early in 2015.

Fall brings the Jeff Austin Band to the West Coast with shows in Flagstaff, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Arcata, Eugene, Portland, Seattle and Bellingham. JAB will also be performing two nights at Railroad Earth’s Hangtown Halloween Ball in Placerville, CA where Leftover Salmon and moe. amongst others. Jeff will also be appearing at Gathering of the Vibes, Yarmony Grass and Lockn’ Festival for special Grateful Grass sets featuring Austin along with Keller Williams and Keith Moseley.

Austin is headed in a new creative direction with the Jeff Austin Band as he prepares to step into the spotlight as a solo artist. On his forthcoming debut project, Austin’s songwriting remains rooted in Americana inspiration and the frantic energy of the jam genre but also, reaches even further weaving in more mainstream themes, reminiscent of his co-write contribution “Fiddlin’ Around,” that was featured on the 2010 Grammy nominated Dierks Bentley album, Up on the Ridge.

While the upcoming, untitled solo effort is still a work in progress, it can already be summed up succinctly as Austin’s love letter to storytelling. “I love writing a three-minute song with a hook that would grab a five-hundred-pound marlin as much as I like writing something that goes, ‘okay, after the bridge, it’s going to open up and just go wide.’”
