“Furthur played this year’s Outside Lands Festival on 8/14 marking the first time that Grateful Dead band members performed in San Fran’s Golden Gate Park since 1991. “I couldn’t believe how John Kadlecik was so close of a visual and sonic copy of Jerry Garcia. Hearing what it could have been like to hear the Grateful Dead perform Loser in Golden Gate Park was a highlight.”

Camp Bisco is always that special time of year. Its magical… like watching a unicorn fucking a manatee. I look forward to it with the anticipation of a child about to go to Disney World for the first time. Now I am home, about to enjoy a much needed rest, reminiscing over the weekend, looking at pics, and listening to parts of the sets. I am immediately taken back to the initial excitement of the first few notes of House Dog, or the moment that the lasers dropped at the beginning of the Morph jam. The music of these special shows tell the story of the Disco Biscuits. You, our fans, are the reason we do what we do and we are excited to relive this amazing weekend with you here.
“This past Saturday night while headlining the All Good Music Festival in Masontown, WV. Panic were joined by Derek Trucks on Slide Guitar for Second Skin, Gimme and Henry Parsons Died. The classic All in Time featured a lengthy explorative jam and bookended a nearly nonstop segment that included The Floor, Turn & Dub, Cemetery Walk and more. Also check out the great cover of The Who’s Eminence Front.”
“Umphrey’s McGee absolutely killed their late night Wakarusa set on Saturday 6/5. Friday’s set 6/4 was awesome and we thought unbeatable but late Saturday they tore the revival tent at Wakarusa down!!! Check out the Beatles/Nine Inch Nails smash up called Come Closer. Plus In the Kitchen and closing with Cemetery Walk, can’t really beat it.”
