All Proceeds from “The Wheel – A Musical Celebration of Jerry Garcia” will benefit the Rex Foundation. Recorded 12/4/10 in San Francisco the benefit concert featured a mixture of Jerry Garcia’s contemporaries and younger jamband musicians playing some of his most well known songs. Many of the artists shared a deep connection with Garcia that dated back to the early 1960s. This collaboration of artists featured Jesse McReynolds, Peter Rowan, David Nelson and members of their bands.

“About to complete its first decade, Railroad Earth remains an anomaly in the jam-band world which it more or less occupies. Todd Sheaffer has stepped up his game considerably as a guitarist, but Railroad Earth has no soloist dominating the jams; in fact, the extended instrumental solo is the least of their attributes.”-From LiveDownloads.com

Lotus’s fall tour combined a sometimes explosive, sometimes delicate balance of bass-heavy electronic textures – including deep house, drum and bass, jam-oriented jazz, funk, and world music – Lotus appeals to a diverse audience. Their amazing rhythm section provides the backbone for their adventures into deep electro-space-funk jams.
